Seville has passion. This is where flamenco, bullfights, Don Juan, Carmen, Holy Week and the April Fair can be seen and felt by all.<\/p>\n

Seville is the past. With the largest oldquarter in all of Europe, virtually all the people of the Mediterranean have left their mark here \u2013 the Roman city of It\u00e1lica, the Giralda tower with its Moorish and Christian influences, the Torre del Oro (Gold Tower), the Alc\u00e1zar (Royal Palace), the third largest Cathedral in the world\u2026and that was all before Spain\u2019s Golden Century, when Seville was the hub of the Spanish Empire, famous for splendour with which no other city could compare.<\/p>\n

Seville is also the future, a modern city, open to all progress, especially since 1992 when it hosted the last Expo of the 20 th century. But without a doubt, Seville\u2019s finest asset is its people. As warm and lively as anywhere in Spain, they are always ready to help visitors, and delighted to share their cheerfulness and local traditions.<\/p>\n

During the courses, we organize plenty of excursions to nearby places with the intention of giving the students the opportunity to get to know more of Spain.<\/p>\n

All these excursions are integrated in the academic program and the highlight topics are covered in class.<\/p>\n

All of them are carried out by a Coordinator\/teacher that will be explaining, in an entertaining and amusing manner, all the important historical aspects of the city.<\/p>\n

Cadiz, Cordoba, Granada, Osuna, Italica, Carmona, Pueblos Blancos, Jerez de la Frontera, Lagos (Portugal), are some of the destinations.<\/p>\n

Important: In some cases, this may include overnight hotel stays.<\/em>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]

At Instituto San Fernando, we realize that the success of a Spanish language program is not solely dependent on the quality of the classes, but also the development of a cultural activities\/free time program which fully immerses the student in the country\u2019s culture.<\/p>\n

The cultural activities component of our programs is designed to provide our students with a vision of Spanish culture and society in the most complete and integrated form possible. It is based on diverse criteria, including our high academic standards as well as the personal interests of the students.<\/p>\n

All activities are carefully planned, discussed before and after in the classroom, include the appropriate materials and are accompanied by a specialized professor-mentor. We not only teach culture in the classroom; we allow each student to experience the most important aspects of Spanish society through a carefully structured program of cultural visits.<\/p>\n

The Cathedral of Seville, La Giralda, the Reales Alc\u00e1zares, the Santa Cruz neighborhood, the main museums of the city, the Plaza de Toros de la Real Maestranza, the Paseo de Col\u00f3n and the Arenal neighborhood, the Torreo del Oro and the Archivo de Indias, the Plaza de Espa\u00f1a, the Mar\u00eda Luisa park or a walk through the Triana neighborhood of Seville are some of our suggestions.<\/p>\n
